Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Gump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raphael Nero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gump comes to the cage accompanied by mama always said. Raphael Nero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Gump is predictable there
and Nero connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gump thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Nero if he has to take too many more of those.

Nero has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gump avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Forrest Gump will probably get the nod.

Nero avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Nero stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gump manages to avoid it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nero, as that shot connected.
Gump throws a shot from downtown. Nero moves away and avoids it.
Nero pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nero looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Nero tries to score with some ground and pound. Gump controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Nero has an Americana. Gump didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Nero is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Nero hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
