Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phantom Menace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell has chosen DMX as his entrance music. Charlie Liddell has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Menace ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Menace throws a lazy right hand but Liddell sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Menace uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Liddell throws a nice looking combination but Menace bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Menace shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Liddell as he jumps to the side.
Menace shoots for a double leg takedown but Liddell sprawls well. He's pushed Menace's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Menace lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Liddell sprawling to the canvas. Menace follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Liddell hang on?

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Menace lands a nice short elbow.

Liddell is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Menace lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Liddell! More strikes land and this one is all over! Menace jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
