Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roy Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Stuart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Brandon. Those never looked like landing.
Stuart swings for the body but Brandon moves out of range.
Brandon tries to bum rush Stuart with a series of wild strikes but Stuart uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stuart misses with a leg kick.
Stuart connects with a right hand. Brandon shakes it off.
Stuart avoids the body shot from Brandon.
A right-left combo lands from Brandon.

It looks like Ross Stuart has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brandon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stuart moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A combination from Brandon does no damage.
Stuart tries to close the distance and clinch but Brandon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brandon works the jab nicely.
A big right from Stuart misses.
Stuart on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Brandon lands a left and a right that send Stuart crashing to the mat, dazed. Brandon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Stuart is rocked!
Brandon swinging wildly here.
Stuart is still on wobbly legs! Can Brandon finish him?
Brandon lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Stuart up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Brandon from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Stuart's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
