PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Filipovic might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Duran Duran - The wild boys. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young cracks Filipovic with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Mirko Filipovic has been cut.
Filipovic feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Youngs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Young works the jab nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

We've been told by Filipovic's head coaches at Cozad MMA Los Angeles that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Filipovic misses with a looping left.
Young dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Filipovic gets caught flat footed, as Young shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Young advances position into side control!
Filipovic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Young on the ground.
