Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carmine Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hayato Gokudera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rose might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Red Hot Chili Peppers- Can't Stop. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gokudera misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rose.
Rose bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rose cracks Gokudera with an open hand slap.
An inside leg kick lands from Rose.
Rose tries to clinch up but Gokudera circles away and keeps his distance.
Gokudera fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rose decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Gokudera is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Rose pulls his head out easily.

Rose throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gokudera.

Gokudera is trying to drag Rose to the mat but Rose just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Gokudera pushes Rose back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Rose doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Rose looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Rose content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Rose fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A nice right hand lands inside from Rose.
Gokudera is pressed up against the cage. Rose has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gokudera down to the mat. Gokudera avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Gokudera throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rose sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gokudera is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rose.

No joy there for Rose, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gokudera gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Rose tries for a takedown but Gokudera sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Gokudera lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hayato Gokudera is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Oooh a lovely combination from Gokudera sends Rose down but not out. Gokudera dives into side control looking to finish.
Rose is rocked!
Rose is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gokudera asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Gokudera in side control lands a decent elbow.
Rose taking punishment in the form of punches.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gokudera grinds an elbow into Rose's temple.
Gokudera working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Hayato Gokudera will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Rose takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Gokudera might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Rose looks for a takedown but Gokudera sprawls well.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Gokudera knocks Rose out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
