Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leigh Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin Clare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leigh Freeman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dustin Clare!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman tries for a takedown but Clare sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Clare manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Freeman on his heels. He'll look to pass Freeman's guard now, I'm sure.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Clare thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Clare passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Clare decides to stand back up.
Clare dives in for a single leg takedown but Freeman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Freeman fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Freeman is pressed up against the cage. Clare has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Freeman down to the mat. Freeman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Clare closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clare works his way into full mount!
Clare working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Freeman turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Clare off and cradles Freeman's limp body as Clare celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Dustin Clare!
A relieved looking Dustin Clare thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
