Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Waddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juliano Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junior has chosen Soulfly - Brasil as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juliano Junior!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Junior misses.
Junior drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Waddell is looking to stand back up but Junior counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Waddell.
Junior wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Waddell, who protects the arm well.
Junior is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Waddell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Junior looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Waddell tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Junior is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Waddell knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Junior thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Waddell tries to buck Junior off but Junior is having none of it.
Waddell struggling a bit here.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Junior is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Waddell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Junior tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Junior tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Junior has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Junior looks gassed!
Waddell wants to get back to his feet but Junior drags him back down.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Junior is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Waddell knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Junior swings around for an armbar but Waddell sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Junior's guard.
Junior had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Waddell is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Junior Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Waddell's back instead.
Waddell is trying to defend against the choke here but Junior has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Junior Tightens the hold and Waddell taps out furiously! Junior displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Juliano Junior!
