The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nastul forces Kenny back against the cage and clinches.

I was talking to Kenny's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Nastul drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kenny looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kenny looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kenny!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Nastul might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kenny haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
