The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mars uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lopez.
Lopez takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Lopez misses with a head kick.
Mars throws a head kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Mars.
Mars throws a right hand that Lopez ducks under and follows up with a left that Lopez also avoids with ease.
Mars works the jab nicely.
Lopez moves in looking to clinch but Mars pushes him off.
Horrible takedown by Lopez or perhaps it was just good defense by Mars which made him look bad.

and Mars counters with a nice right hand that sends Lopez toppling to the canvas! Lopez scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mars finish him?!

Lopez circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Mars. Lopez falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Mars!
