Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Druff shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Druff trying to control the position from guard on top but Burt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Druff postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Druff lands a couple of elbows.
Druff content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Druff drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Druff jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Burt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dan Druff.

Druff moves into range and clinches up with Burt.

Druff turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Druff decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Burt gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Druff slips a nice elbow through Burt's hands, connecting with Burt's forehead.
Druff working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Burt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Druff on the ground.

Druff might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Burt haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
