Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aderbal Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiromita Takayi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiromita Takayi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Takayi swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Maia.
Takayi looks to land a combination but Maia avoids it well.
Takayi throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Hiromita Takayi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takayi connects with a jab.
Maia takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Takayi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Takayi thumps Maia with a low kick.
Takayi pushes Maia away with a front kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Takayi throws a sloppy head kick and Maia moves out of range easily.

Maia scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Maia has an Americana. Takayi didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Maia is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Maia hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
