The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Durrant shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Durrant was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Mai tries to lock up and control but Durrant gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Durrant takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Mai is in bad spot here.

Mai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Durrant. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Durrant thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

Durrant is working for a rear naked choke. Mai is not defending it well and Durrant has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Mai refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Mai's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
