Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Cobb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sayan Sever (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kurt Cobb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobb looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sever is fending him off so far but Cobb persists. Nope, Sever circles away and we're back to standing.

Cobb forces Sever back against the cage and clinches.
Cobb changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sever fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Cobb fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kurt Cobb. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cobb misses with a takedown attempt - Sever sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sever looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cobb is fending him off so far but Sever persists. Nope, Cobb circles away and we're back to standing.
Cobb fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sever avoids it really well and circles away.
Cobb throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Cobb enables Sever to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cobb manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Cobb not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cobb will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Sever drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sever jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Sever postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cobb is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sever, into his guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sever is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Cobb has his hands clasped together but Sever extends and breaks Cobb's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Sever.
