Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucenzo Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Romero comes to the cage accompanied by Don Omar - Danza Kuduro ft. Lucenzo . Paul Harris acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucenzo Romero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Harris!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Romero throws a leg kick that is checked

and Harris counters with a nice double leg into side control. Romero won't be happy with that.
Harris tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
A lull in the action here.

You can see the frustration on Romero's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Harris is not content to let Romero control the position.

Romero tries to land a front kick but Harris steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Romero throws a sloppy head kick and Harris moves out of range easily.

Romero throws a jab but it's blocked by Harris.
Harris throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Harris shoots in looking for a takedown. Romero tries to sprawl out of it but Harris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Romero manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Romero moves out of range of the strikes.

Harris shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Harris does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A solid leg kick lands there for Harris.

Romero takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Romero throws a push kick but Harris slaps the foot to one side.

Harris shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Harris throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

You can see the frustration on Romero's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Romero dodges the ground and pound from Harris.
Harris misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Harris looks up at the clock and then as Romero takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Harris smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Paul Harris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Paul Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Romero stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Romero wants it to stay on the feet.

Romero is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Romero lands a really nice looking cross but Harris seems unphased.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Harris fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Romero has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Harris shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Romero is trying to defend but Harris finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Lucenzo Romero has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Paul Harris.
