Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Hathaway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Vincent Escargesa!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escargesa lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Escargesa looks to land a combination. Hathaway sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.


It looks like Daniel Hathaway has been cut.
Escargesa connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hathaway momentarily.
Hathaway looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Escargesa lands a glancing blow to the side of Hathaway's head.
Hathaway misses with a series of wild punches.
Escargesa misses with a double jab
and Hathaway counters with a one-two to the body.
Escargesa lands with a nice body punch.
The fighters circling - Hathaway throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hathaway fails to land with a series of punches.
Escargesa waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hathaway.
Hathaway jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Escargesa thows a body shot but no joy.
Escargesa misses with a looping right.
Escargesa tries to clinch but Hathaway moves out of range.
Escargesa dips to his left and cracks Hathaway with an uppercut!
Escargesa has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Escargesa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hathaway moves away.
Escargesa misses with a body shot.
Escargesa throws a big shot that misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hathaway swats away the attempt to clinch by Escargesa.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Escargesa takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hathaway works the jab nicely.


Escargesa is rocked!
Escargesa is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Escargesa is still on wobbly legs! Can Hathaway finish him?
Nice cross by Escargesa.
Escargesa seems to have recovered his senses.
Escargesa takes a swing at Hathaway's ribcage but misses.
Hathaway lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A punch combination from Hathaway misses.
Hathaway cracks Escargesa with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A combination from Escargesa does no damage.
Hathaway connects with a body shot that sends Escargesa's belly button to the back.
Hathaway misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Escargesa.
Hathaway keeps the fight on the outside.
Hathaway needs to keep his hands up - Escargesa had a free shot at his head there.
Escargesa sizes up Hathaway with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hathaway looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Vincent Escargesa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Escargesa keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hathaway.
Escargesa misses with a body shot.
Hathaway misses with the combination.
Escargesa tries to clinch up but Hathaway circles away and keeps his distance.
Escargesa drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Hathaway scores with the left hand. Escargesa knows he should have avoided that one.
Escargesa has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nice defenses there by Escargesa.

Hathaway drops Escargesa with a beautiful combination! Escargesa stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hathaway is looking for the KO!
Escargesa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hathaway moves away.
Escargesa throws a jab when Hathaway was well out of range.
A head kick by Hathaway - that's a beauty! Escargesa is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Hathaway can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Daniel Hathaway!
An out of breath Daniel Hathaway thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
