Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edmundo Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcinho Guerreiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guerreiro has chosen DMX- Ain`t No Sunshine as his entrance music. Marcinho Guerreiro will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerreiro circles away from the clinch attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jr. Guerreiro does a little dance to reset his feet.

Edmundo Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcinho Guerreiro.
Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Guerreiro was well out of range. Poor timing from Jr.

Jr fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Guerreiro, pushing him back against the cage.

Jr has Guerreiro pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Jr pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Guerreiro tumbling to the mat - Jr dives into Guerreiro's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jr is concentrating on defense, preventing Guerreiro from advancing position.
Guerreiro tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jr controls his leg.
Jr is positioning himself well to prevent Guerreiro advancing to mount.

Guerreiro manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jr manages to get himself to full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Edmundo Jr.

Jr scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Jr dives in and scores a takedown into Guerreiro's guard.
Guerreiro wants to sweep but no luck.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jr might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jr seems keen to control Guerreiro's posture.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Guerreiro on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jr is looking to wear down Guerreiro with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Guerreiro gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jr counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Jr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jr misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

You can see the frustration on Guerreiro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Guerreiro is still in real trouble! Can Jr finish him?
Jr cracks Guerreiro with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Jr immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Guerreiro is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Jr!

After the fight, Edmundo Jr was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
