Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tonton Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Crusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hong comes to the cage accompanied by Hong Entrance Song. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tonton Hong!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeremy Crusher!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hong tries a head kick but it misses.
Crusher fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Crusher crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hong - the referee stops the clock and Crusher gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hong. Crusher manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Crusher closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Crusher postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Crusher is looking to take a break and control but Hong is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hong tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Crusher wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Crusher is keen to just control but Hong is a slippery customer.
Crusher thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Hong counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hong tried to score with a low kick but Crusher checks it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hong tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Crusher is able to avoid easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hong does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Crusher throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Hong loads up on a big right hand but Crusher slips the punch.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Crusher throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Crusher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hong keeps working.

Crusher is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Crusher is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hong is just riding it out for now. Crusher eventually gives up the hold.

Crusher sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hong is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hong holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Crusher tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Crusher is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Crusher. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Crusher is pressing down on Hong's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hong is holding on for now.

Hong got a little sloppy there for a moment and Crusher has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hong has managed to get both his arms back between Crusher's legs - danger averted.

Hong looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Crusher with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Crusher is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted.

Hong looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Crusher covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

A relieved looking Tonton Hong thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
