Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Van Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prince Punisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richards comes to the cage accompanied by Remember the Name. Prince Punisher is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Richards forces Punisher back against the cage and clinches.
Punisher keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Richards's efforts to push away.
Richards is trying to maintain a safe position but Punisher gets an underhook and turns Richards into the cage.
Richards looking for a takedown.
Richards is trying to pull guard but Punisher turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Richards managing to block the knees to the body from Punisher.
Punisher is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Punisher gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Richards regains guard.
Punisher not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Richards is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Richards is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Richards throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Punisher regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Richards.
Richards is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Punisher wants to sweep but no luck.

Richards drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Punisher manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Richards has Punisher in his guard.

Punisher passes Richards's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Richards is looking to improve his position.

Punisher stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Richards to get to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Richards moves into the clinch successfully.

Punisher pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Richards clinches.

Punisher pulls guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Punisher is on top in guard.
Punisher is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Punisher throwing strikes from guard but Richards blocks nicely.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Prince Punisher hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Punisher moves into range and clinches up with Richards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Punisher misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Punisher tries to keep at a distance but Richards has taken the fight into the clinch.

Punisher jumps into guard, dragging Richards to the mat.
Punisher lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Richards!
Richards is trying desperately to improve position.
Punisher controlling from the full mount.

Richards tries to lock up and control but Punisher gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Prince Punisher has got the better of the ground game so far.

Punisher is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Richards is forced to tap! Great finish!
