Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrik Send (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Ton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Anton Ton enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Patrik Send!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 19 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anton Ton!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Send shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ton sprawls well. Ton wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Send gets slowly back to his feet.
Send misses with a kick to the body.
Ton swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Send moves into range and clinches up with Ton.
Ton looking for a takedown.
Ton has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Send avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Patrik Send has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anton Ton.

Send breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Send will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Send circles away from the clinch attempt.
Send throws a head kick but Ton moves out of range.
Ton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

A head kick misses from Ton.
Send lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


It looks like Anton Ton has been cut.
Ton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ton shoots for a double leg takedown but Send sprawls well. He's pushed Ton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Send tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Send tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ton defends well and Send ends up having to push Ton into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Send jumps guard and drags Ton to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Send wants to control but Ton passes easily into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ton slows the pace down in half guard.
Ton is looking to take a break and control but Send is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ton stops Send from getting back to his feet.
Ton looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Send is trying to control but can't.
Ton wants to stand up but Send has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Anton Ton wasn't active enough on the ground.

Send closes the distance and pushes Ton back into the cage.
Ton can't get the takedown.
Ton wants to stall.
Ton is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Ton misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Send breaks from the clinch.
Ton fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Send avoids it really well and circles away.

Ton slaps away a takedown attempt from Send, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Send darts in and clinches Ton up against the cage.
Ton drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Send gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Send can't find room to land a body shot as Ton controls the action.

Ton is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Send can't fight it off and eventually Ton manages to take the fight to the floor. Send looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Patrik Send will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Ton is pressed up against the cage. Send has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ton down to the mat. Ton avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Send working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Send has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Ton is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Anton Ton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Send, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
