The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clare shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cejrowski napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Clare wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cejrowski, who protects the arm well.

Cejrowski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Clare uses his free foot to push down on Cejrowski's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cejrowski.

Clare has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Cejrowski has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Clare is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Cejrowski has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Clare is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Cejrowski is defending well though. Clare let's go of the attempt for now.
