The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Selby fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Freeman avoids it really well and circles away.
Selby throws a hook but Freeman avoids it easily.
Freeman checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Freeman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Selby fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Selby scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ground and pound from Selby.
Selby throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Freeman wants to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Selby uses his free foot to push down on Freeman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Freeman.

Freeman holds on to Selby around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.
Selby postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Freeman looks a forlorn figure.
Selby is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
BOOM! Selby connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Selby unloads with some shots from mount but Freeman bucks and avoids them well.
Selby fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Freeman is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Selby cracks Freeman with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Selby breaks from Freeman's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Selby postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Freeman badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Selby around the waist but Selby pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Selby is the winner by TKO! Selby jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
