And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ron Curk!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hugo avoids the head kick by Curk.
Curk tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hugo swivels and escapes.
Curk takes one to the side of the head.

Hugo lands a left and a right that send Curk crashing to the mat, dazed. Hugo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Curk is rocked!

It looks like Ron Curk has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hugo blocks a head kick by Curk.
Curk is still on wobbly legs! Can Hugo finish him?
Curk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hugo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hugo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
BOOM! Hugo lands a beautiful left hook that drops Curk. Curk tries to recover but Hugo is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Curk lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ali Hugo!
