Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcello Mygueel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mygueel comes to the cage accompanied by Gun's Roses-Paradise City. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter stuffs the takedown attempt from Mygueel. Mygueel gets slowly back to his feet.
Potter manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mygueel on his heels. He'll look to pass Mygueel's guard now, I'm sure.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Potter engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Potter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Mygueel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Potter is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Potter forces his way into half guard.
Mygueel has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Potter is working away from the top position though.
Potter is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Mygueel is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Potter is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mygueel has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mygueel!
Potter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Potter is controlling Mygueel's posture.
Potter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Potter seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Marcello Mygueel.
Potter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mygueel as he jumps to the side.
Mygueel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mygueel avoids the head kick by Potter.
Mygueel has a takedown stuffed.
Mygueel moves into the clinch.

Potter successfully pulls guard.
Mygueel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Potter swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Potter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mygueel's guard.
Potter controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Potter trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Potter postures up.
Mygueel wants to sweep here but Potter controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Potter missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Mygueel wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Potter is now in half guard.
Potter wants to stand up but Mygueel is controlling the position.
Potter controlling the pace.
Mygueel is looking to control Potter's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mygueel avoid being mounted?
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Potter defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mygueel.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Potter dominated that round.

Potter is looking to clinch but Mygueel is avoiding it.
Horrible takedown by Potter or perhaps it was just good defense by Mygueel which made him look bad.
Marcello Mygueel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mygueel stuffs the takedown.
Mygueel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Potter's waist but Potter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mygueel off to one side.
Potter tries to clinch but Mygueel is having none of it.
Mygueel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mygueel fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mygueel shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Potter counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Mygueel pushes Potter off looking to stand but Potter dives back in and keeps control.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Potter in particular looking to stall.
Potter throwing shots but Mygueel is blocking nicely.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Potter passes to side control.
Potter tries to stand but Mygueel is controlling his head.
Mygueel seems a little lost for a moment, as Potter dominates the positioning.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Potter. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Potter has hold of Mygueel's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Mygueel seems comfortable defending it but Potter has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Mygueel is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Mygueel is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Potter couldn't care less - he's delighted!
