Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yoko Inamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Projekti Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Yoko Inamoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Projekti Mies!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mies throws a lazy right hand but Inamoto sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Inamoto misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Inamoto shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mies's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Mies is looking for a triangle but Inamoto pushes his legs off easily.
Inamoto controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We're going to have a standup here because Yoko Inamoto wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Mies lands a leg kick that knocks Inamoto off balance momentarily.
Inamoto fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Inamoto shoots in but Mies avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Inamoto on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Inamoto shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mies's guard.

Mies is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Inamoto defends well.

Mies has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Inamoto can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Inamoto is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mies is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mies walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Inamoto checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Inamoto stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mies.
Mies buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mies scores with a nice body kick.
Inamoto avoids a kick to the body.

A jab from Mies misses.
Mies misses with a looping right.
Good leg kick by Mies there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Inamoto blocks the body kick.
Mies feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Inamoto's calf.
Mies throws the kick towards the body but Inamoto avoids it.
Mies is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Mies lands a nice looking body kick.
Inamoto is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Inamoto darts in looking for a takedown but Mies gets double underhooks and turns Inamoto into the cage.

Mies working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Inamoto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Inamoto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mies had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Inamoto defends it easily.

Inamoto chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mies can pounce on him.
Mies stuffs the takedown attempt from Inamoto. Inamoto gets slowly back to his feet.

Mies throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Mies thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Inamoto if he has to take too many more of those.

Inamoto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mies's waist but Mies gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Inamoto off to one side.

Mies fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Inamoto checks it well.
Mies lands a leg kick that knocks Inamoto off balance momentarily.
Mies moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Mies fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Inamoto is out of range.
Mies swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Mies tried to score with a low kick but Inamoto checks it.

Mies gets caught flat footed, as Inamoto shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Inamoto is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Inamoto might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Inamoto seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mies does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Yoko Inamoto.

Mies throws a leg kick which misses Inamoto's front leg but catches the back leg as Inamoto tries to avoid it.
Mies fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Inamoto is out of range.

Mies pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Inamoto shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mies but Mies pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Inamoto avoids the head kick by Mies.
Mies stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mies wants it to stay on the feet.
Inamoto takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mies thows a body kick. Inamoto tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Inamoto will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mies tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mies will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Inamoto goes for a double leg but Mies avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mies continues to drive forward.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Projekti Mies showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Inamoto shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mies defends it nicely.

Inamoto controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Inamoto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mies has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Inamoto has managed to get both his arms back between Mies's legs - danger averted.
Mies takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Inamoto not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Inamoto manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mies on his heels. He'll look to pass Mies's guard now, I'm sure.

Mies fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Inamoto.

I would just about give that final round to Projekti Mies.
