Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Earle Santos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Chapman!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Santos really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Chapman lands with a thumping leg kick.
Santos tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Chapman defends well and Santos ends up having to push Chapman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Chapman working hard to break the clinch.
Chapman is looking to break free of the clinch but Santos has double underhooks.
Chapman looking to slow down the pace here.

Santos successfully pulls guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Chapman trying to control the position from guard on top but Santos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Santos looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Chapman wants to control from the top but Santos keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chapman stopping the sweep attempt from Santos.
Chapman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Santos keeping moving, preventing Chapman from controlling successfully.
Chapman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Danny Chapman has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Santos shoots for a double leg takedown but Chapman sprawls well. He's pushed Santos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Earle Santos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chapman misses with a low kick as Santos jumps back.
Chapman shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Danny Chapman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Santos clinches up with Chapman and pushes him back against the cage.

Chapman has a couple of punches blocked by Santos.
Santos tries to score a body lock takedown but Chapman shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Santos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chapman walks away with a smile on his face. Santos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Santos moves out of range as Chapman strikes.
Chapman throws a nice outside leg kick.
Santos goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Chapman throws out a loose jab but Santos uses good head movement to avoid it.
Chapman misses with a kick to the body.
Chapman throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Santos's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Santos on the wrong end of a nice jab.


Santos is rocked!
Chapman scores with a leg kick.
Oh Santos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Santos is breathing heavily.
Santos wants to stay close but Chapman steps back to make room for something. Santos seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Chapman and Santos drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Danny Chapman!
Danny Chapman spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
