The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Piuccl has closed the distance and engaged Lambert in a clinch.
Lambert is trying to break the clinch but Piuccl has him pressed against the cage.
Lambert has had enough of the clinch but Piuccl keeps him there for the moment.
Piuccl blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Lambert gets underhooks to prevent Piuccl's takedown attempt.
Lambert looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Piuccl breaks the clinch.
Lambert is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Piuccl.
Lambert lands with a right hand.

It looks like Dan Piuccl has been cut.
Lambert misses with a straight right.
A slapping leg kick lands for Piuccl.
Piuccl misses with the combination.
Lambert misses with a left hand
and Piuccl counters with a flying knee. Nice.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lambert lands a big shot that drops Piuccl! Can he finish him?

Piuccl is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Oh Piuccl is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lambert accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lambert postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Lambert postures up and lands a big shot to Piuccl's brow.
Piuccl is breathing heavily.

Lambert gets to his feet and stands over Piuccl, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Piuccl felt that one! Lambert unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Piuccl from any more punishment!
