The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuch gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Garrison counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Garrison throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stuch works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Stuch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Garrison. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stuch wants to sweep but no luck.
Garrison seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stuch looking to hit a scissor sweep but Garrison is one step ahead there.

Stuch is looking for a triangle but Garrison pushes his legs off easily.

Garrison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Garrison stands up over Stuch, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Garrison is working Stuch over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
