Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krzys Soszynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinn Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ice Cube - It Was a Dood Day. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Johnson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Soszynski is proving hard to escape from.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johnson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Soszynski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Johnson tries to kick Soszynski off but Soszynski keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Johnson is not content to let Soszynski control the position.
Johnson is trying to stand up here but Soszynski is controlling him well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Soszynski wants to free his trapped foot but Johnson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Soszynski wants to work for an arm triangle but Johnson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
