The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horvat misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Tama has Horvat up against the cage in a clinch.

Tama is trying to trip Horvat. He has hold of a leg but Horvat is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Tama persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Tama stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Horvat to get to his feet.

Tama feints and as Horvat raises his hands in defense, Tama changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Horvat manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tama manages to get himself to full guard.

Horvat has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tama is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Horvat yanks on the arm and Tama is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Horvat.
