The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Umanga walks into a stiff left hand from Rutten.
Rutten displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Umanga.
Rutten just misses with a punch to the body.
Umanga looks for a takedown but Rutten sprawls well.
Rutten throws a jab but it's blocked by Umanga.
Nate Umanga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rutten throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Horrible takedown by Umanga or perhaps it was just good defense by Rutten which made him look bad.

It looks like Nate Umanga has been cut.
Umanga drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Rutten wobbles Umanga with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Rutten dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Umanga to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
