Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Grover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukasz Pleskot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lukasz Pleskot is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Marcelo Grover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lukasz Pleskot!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grover takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Grover is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Marcelo Grover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Grover drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Grover cracks Pleskot with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Grover manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pleskot on his heels. He'll look to pass Pleskot's guard now, I'm sure.
Pleskot bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Grover's guard.

Pleskot has control of Grover's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Grover regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Marcelo Grover will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
