Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leon Bomba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tanner Yosuf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yosuf looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Yosuf wants to control from the top but Bomba keeps moving.
Yosuf stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bomba swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bomba is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Yosuf to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Yosuf shrugs it off.

That was a close round but I would say that Leon Bomba will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Yosuf tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bomba manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bomba escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yosuf gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bomba tries to roll over but Yosuf keeps him under control.

Yosuf cracks Bomba with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Bomba is staying active underneath Yosuf, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Yosuf might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bomba haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Yosuf connects with a nice short shot to Bomba's temple.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bomba has his foot on Yosuf's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yosuf works his way back into a safe position though.
