Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ratto Macfedries (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaique Mateus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ratto Macfedries looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mateus instigates a clinch.
Mateus lands a right hand that snaps the head of Macfedries backwards.
Mateus working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Macfedries is looking to break free of the clinch but Mateus has double underhooks.
Mateus tries to score a body lock takedown but Macfedries shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Mateus drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Macfedries gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Mateus drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ratto Macfedries has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kaique Mateus.
Macfedries is looking to control Mateus's arms but Mateus gets an underhook and turns him. Now Macfedries has his back to the cage.
Macfedries misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mateus.
Mateus scores with a shot to the side of Macfedries's head.

Mateus has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Macfedries is trying to keep an underhook but Mateus manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Mateus is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Macfedries defends it well.
Mateus has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Mateus wants to take Macfedries's back here but Macfedries is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Mateus lands a big shot there that rocks Macfedries but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Macfedries is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Mateus can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Macfedries is looking to escape.

Mateus with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Mateus looks gassed!
Mateus wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
BOOM! Mateus connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Macfedries's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Mateus landing strikes, looking to finish!

Mateus has hold of Macfedries's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Macfedries manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Macfedries tries to buck Mateus off but Mateus takes his back!
Macfedries has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mateus working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Macfedries is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Mateus has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Macfedries taps out!
