Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jarek Glaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jarek Glaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, King Kong!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Glaz.
Glaz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kong counters with a two punch combo.

Glaz closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kong's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Glaz works over Kong with some ground and pound from guard.

Kong looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Glaz lands a couple of elbows.
Glaz sitting in guard here, content to control.
Kong working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Glaz.
Glaz trying to control but Kong is working from the bottom.
Glaz engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Glaz throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kong works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Kong avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Glaz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Glaz lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Glaz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Glaz postures up and lands a big shot to Kong's brow.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kong has his foot on Glaz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Glaz works his way back into a safe position though.
Glaz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Glaz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jarek Glaz wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Glaz drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kong can't keep his opponent in guard - Glaz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kong is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Glaz working over Kong with some ground and pound. Kong looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Kong manages to get to full guard.
Glaz is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Glaz postures up in Kong's guard and throws a big left but Kong blocks it.
Glaz lands a couple of decent looking shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Glaz stands and throws Kong's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Glaz is chipping away with strikes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Glaz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kong is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kong takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jarek Glaz dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Glaz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Glaz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Kong wants to get back to his feet.
Glaz not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Glaz looking for a submission but Kong manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Glaz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Glaz lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Glaz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kong manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Glaz has Kong in his guard.
Glaz has Kong pulled in close to control his posture.

Glaz isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kong stacks Glaz on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kong!

Kong tries to advance to mount but Glaz denies him.

Glaz tries to get back to half guard but can't.
You can see the frustration on Glaz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Glaz tries to bench press Kong off him but Kong keeps the position.
Glaz keeping his opponent close.
Glaz regains half guard.
Glaz moves into full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Glaz is pulling down on Kong's head. It's preventing any offense from Kong, at least for the moment.
Kong stopping the sweep attempt from Glaz.
Glaz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Glaz has control of Kong's left arm, preventing Kong from doing any damage.
Glaz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Glaz lands with a punch from half guard.
Glaz scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Glaz wants to control but Kong is keeping him busy.
Kong is pressing down on Glaz's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Kong is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Glaz distracts Kong with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Kong is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Glaz keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kong's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jarek Glaz dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Glaz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kong as he avoids it easily.

Kong gets the takedown into side control.
Glaz sneaks back into half guard.
Glaz manages to get to full guard.
Glaz lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kong!

Kong is rocked!

Glaz jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kong is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kong and Glaz has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Kong is still in real trouble! Can Glaz finish him?
Glaz controlling the position from side mount.
Glaz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kong can do to turn this around?
Glaz scores with a couple of short elbows.
Kong gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Kong seems to have recovered his senses.
The referee warns Kong that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Kong takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Glaz scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Kong?
BOOM! Glaz connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Glaz lands with some strikes.
Glaz controlling his opponent.
Glaz postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Kong in real trouble here! The ref calls for Kong to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jarek Glaz!
Jarek Glaz decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
