The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thornton avoids a kick to the body.
Jigster tries for a takedown but Thornton circles away easily

Thornton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Jigster pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Thornton has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jigster should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Thornton has tightened it up now! Jigster should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
