The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pe Descalco shoots in and drives through. Escalda sprawls well.

Escalda is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Escalda's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Escalda is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Vieira Pe Descalco overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vieira Pe Descalco will probably get the nod.

Escalda shoots for a takedown but Pe Descalco saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vieira Pe Descalco.
