Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey The Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and SPideR RicO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). RicO has chosen Let THE BODIES hit the FLOOR! as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeffrey The Dude!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, SPideR RicO!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
RicO tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
RicO tries to close the distance and clinch up but The Dude swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The Dude fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
RicO tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but The Dude paws at him with a jab and circles away.

RicO keeps the fight on the outside.
The Dude throws a right and a left that both miss.
RicO is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
RicO clinches but The Dude breaks the clinch

and The Dude counters with a shoot takedown. RicO fights it but they end up in guard.
RicO can't keep his opponent in guard - The Dude advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
RicO wants to control but The Dude is keeping busy and won't allow it.

RicO is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but The Dude pulls his head out easily.
RicO tries to get to full guard but The Dude has control of the leg.

RicO tries a knee to the head but The Dude blocks it.
The Dude misses with a hook to the ribs.
The Dude blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
The Dude tries to pull guard but RicO won't allow it.

RicO jumps into guard, dragging The Dude to the mat.

The Dude is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

RicO is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

RicO throws his legs up looking for a submission but The Dude uses it to pass to side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The Dude tries to advance to mount but can't.
The Dude trying to control the action but RicO is working from the bottom.

The Dude tries for a kimura but RicO is defending well.
The Dude is breathing heavily.
RicO prevents The Dude from moving into mount.
RicO manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jeffrey The Dude dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

RicO connects with a nasty looking knee right to The Dude's face.

The Dude utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
RicO is looking to work some ground and pound but The Dude has wrist control.

RicO has gone for a leg lock! The Dude slips out almost immediately though and dives into RicO's guard.
The Dude tries to free his leg and advance position but RicO is retaining full guard.

The Dude is looking to advance position but RicO has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
RicO looking to ground and pound but The Dude is blocking nicely.

RicO has control of The Dude's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and The Dude regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The Dude jumps guard but RicO stands there with The Dude around his waist. The Dude gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
RicO tries to score a body lock takedown but The Dude shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

RicO fails to pull the fight into his guard.

SPideR RicO showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

RicO working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The Dude doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The Dude manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
