Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Perko Late (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Y cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). cage is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Don't let me be misunderstood. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Y cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Late shoots in but cage avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Late tries to close the distance and clinch but cage swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Late changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. cage tries to avoid it but Late manages to keep hold of a leg and drag cage to the ground. cage escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Late shoots in looking for a takedown. cage tries to sprawl out of it but Late keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. cage manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Perko Late. That's going to take a lot out of him.
cage punishes Late's body with a nice straight punch.
Late shoots in and drives through. cage sprawls well.
Late takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Late throws a push kick but cage slaps the foot to one side.
Late has a takedown stuffed.
Perko Late seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Late shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has cage pinned against the cage. cage gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Late is breathing heavily.
A left lands for cage.
cage moves into range and connects with a jab.
cage throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Perko Late has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
cage scores with a nice strike.
cage rushes Late with punches - Late moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Late goes down! cage follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
