Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tom Thadani!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Don Sash!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sash misses with a series of wild punches.
Sash bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Some wild striking there from Sash.
Thadani thuds his shin into the meat of Sash's side.
Thadani slips a jab and a cross from Sash.
Thadani takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Thadani. Sash shrugs it off though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That kick from Thadani tenderised Sash's leg. Sash is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sash swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Don Sash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sash throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Thadani scores with a spinning back kick!

A slapping leg kick lands for Thadani.

Thadani lands a head kick that bluckles Sash and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Thadani no doubt looking to push for a finish!


It looks like Don Sash has been cut.

Sash is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Thadani creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Sash's defenses.
Thadani connects with a nasty looking knee right to Sash's face.
Sash is trying to force a seperation but Thadani has the dominant position.
Thadani connects with a knee to the head.
Thadani prevents Sash from breaking the clinch.
Thadani lands a knee to the head.


Sash is rocked!
Sash is looking to break free of the clinch but Thadani has double underhooks.
Sash is still on wobbly legs! Can Thadani finish him?
Thadani keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sash's efforts to push away.
Sash seems to have recovered his senses.
Thadani content to slow the pace in the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Thadani lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sash's sensitive parts.

Thadani throws out a head kick that Sash doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Sash crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Sash's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

and Thadani counters with a nice body kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Thadani.
Don Sash is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sash on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Sash walks forward, straight into a front kick from Thadani.
Thadani throws a front kick that sends Sash stumbling back into the ropes.

Thadani scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Sash to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Thadani away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Sash got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
Sash is breathing heavily.

Thadani has closed the distance and engaged Sash in a clinch.

Sash is trying to get back to his feet but his equilibrium is completely gone! The referee has called it off! This fight is over! Thadani is jumping up and down like a mad man, celebrating with his cornermen.
