Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Hero will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Hero as Gable shoots in.
Hero misses with an uppercut.
Gable tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hero defends well and Gable ends up having to push Hero into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Gable in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Hero wants to stand but Gable is controlling the position.

Don Gable has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Gable feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hero fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Hero counters with a head kick. That will keep Gable thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Hero pushes Gable off looking to stand but Gable dives back in and keeps control.
Gable is pressing down on Hero's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hero is holding on for now.
Gable seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hero does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Gable here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
