The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre pulls out of a head kick attempt.
St Pierre has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Mcmarlow swings for the body but St Pierre moves out of range.
Mcmarlow throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around St Pierre's waist but St Pierre gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mcmarlow off to one side.
St Pierre dives in and grabs Mcmarlow's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mcmarlow pushes down on St Pierre's head and hops out.
A nice leg kick lands there from St Pierre.
St Pierre is looking to slow Mcmarlow down with leg kicks.
Mcmarlow darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Mcmarlow swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mcmarlow cracks St Pierre with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
St Pierre steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mcmarlow.
Mcmarlow avoids the head kick by St Pierre.
St Pierre tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mcmarlow paws at him with a jab and circles away.
St Pierre is looking to clinch but Mcmarlow is avoiding it.
St Pierre moves in looking to clinch but Mcmarlow pushes him off.
St Pierre will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

St Pierre drives through and clinches with Mcmarlow against the cage.
Mcmarlow lands with a short punch from the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mcmarlow makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
St Pierre throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Mcmarlow blocks it with crossed arms.
St Pierre is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mcmarlow is keeping busy.
Mcmarlow wants to break free but St Pierre has control.

A battle for position here, against the cage.
Mcmarlow wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but St Pierre has him pressed against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, St Pierre throws an elbow but misses.
Mcmarlow scores with a nice hook to the head.
Mcmarlow prevents a body shot from St Pierre.
St Pierre swings away with an uppercut that misses.
St Pierre's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
St Pierre is looking to control Mcmarlow's arms but Mcmarlow gets an underhook and turns him. Now St Pierre has his back to the cage.
St Pierre is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mcmarlow is defending well for now.

Mcmarlow works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Mcmarlow working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Mcmarlow avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mcmarlow knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for St Pierre on the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

St Pierre looking for a triangle here. Mcmarlow is fighting it but it looks tight! St Pierre pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Mcmarlow is tapping out - this one is all over!
