Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bada Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Huggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boom kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Here Comes the BOOM by: POD. Chuck Huggins has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bada Boom's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bada Boom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chuck Huggins!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Huggins but Huggins pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Boom is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Huggins.
Boom misses with a double jab.
Boom shoots in looking for a takedown but Huggins manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boom's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Boom shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Huggins as he avoids it easily.
Boom looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bada Boom. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boom takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Boom throws an off balance right hand
and Huggins counters with a straight right hand.

Boom is rocked!
Boom shoots in but no luck this time.
Oh Boom is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boom falls off balance throwing a combination
and Huggins counters with a nice uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boom takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Boom seems to have got his legs back now.
Boom throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Huggins sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Huggins has Boom up against the cage in a clinch.
Huggins lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Boom backwards.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Boom gets control of Huggins's arms and successfully pulls guard. Boom will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Huggins would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Huggins is posturing up here but Boom has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Huggins tries to roll out but it's too tight and Huggins has to tap! Slick submission there by Boom!
