Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kobe Romeo Paris!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paris fails in his attempt to clinch.
Savish throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Savish cracks a nice hook into Paris's ribs.
A combination from Savish does no damage.
Paris keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Savish lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Leto Savish seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Paris uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Savish.
Paris tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Savish manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
We've been told by Savish's head coaches at TAP ROOT -/- 10 Coaches / Great Sparring / Value that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Paris has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
