Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Billy Boozer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Weidman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Weidman's choice of entrance music: Alab ng Puso-Abra. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boozer is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Weidman's half guard.
Weidman looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Boozer is working for a submission of some sort.
Boozer is trying to control. Weidman wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Weidman is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Boozer scores with a couple of nice shots.
Boozer is keen to just control but Weidman is a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Billy Boozer wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Boozer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Weidman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Boozer looks up at the clock and then as Weidman takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Boozer smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Weidman is looking for a kimura but Boozer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Weidman to get the leverage.

I would just about give that final round to Chris Weidman.
Well Boozer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
