Tom has chosen blood blood blood blood as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tom throws a front kick aimed at Lesner's knee but Lesner avoids it well.

Lesner drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lesner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lesner content to stall in guard here.

Lesner slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Tom has eaten all the pies!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Brock Lesner wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Nice uppercut lands for Tom. That snapped Lesner's head back.
Tom bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Lesner takes one to the side of the head.

Tom gets caught flat footed, as Lesner shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Tom really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lesner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

It looks like Flatline Tom has been cut.

Lesner lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That has opened up Flatline Tom's cut even more.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lesner has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lesner bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lesner controls the position.

Lesner lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lesner in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Tom tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Lesner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Brock Lesner!
