The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Good leg kick by Murphy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nice takedown defense from Murphy. No joy for Hanson on that attempt.
Murphy bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hanson's head.

It looks like Barrett Hanson has been cut.
A clash of legs there as Hanson blocks the low kick.
Hanson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Murphy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hanson's hands.

Hanson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Murphy drops Hanson with a straight right hand, right on the button! Murphy follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
