Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Ronan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thurgood Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ronan comes to the cage accompanied by Promised Land. Jenkins has chosen Mary Jane as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins moves into range and connects with a jab.
Ronan connects with a nice looking jab.
Jenkins connects with a leg kick. Ronan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Ronan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jenkins tries a low kick but Ronan avoids it.
Jenkins fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ronan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jenkins does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Jenkins lands a nice shot that snaps Ronan's head back.
Ronan is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Ronan lands a left and a right that send Jenkins crashing to the mat, dazed. Ronan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Jenkins tries for a takedown but Ronan manages to get underhooks.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jenkins takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ronan throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jenkins motions for Ronan to come forward. Jenkins throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Jenkins walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ronan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jenkins throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jenkins.

Ronan just misses with a punch to the body.

Ronan drops Jenkins with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jenkins looks back up at him and smiles so Ronan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jenkins is still on wobbly legs! Can Ronan finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A very excited looking Elvis Ronan rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
