Woody May could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Luboslav Petrov's chin.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov throws a sloppy head kick and May moves out of range easily.

Petrov tries to keep at a distance but May has taken the fight into the clinch.
Petrov prevents May from breaking the clinch.
Petrov tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. May just stands there and leans against the cage.
Petrov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as May walks away with a smile on his face. Petrov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Petrov tries to close the distance and clinch up but May swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Petrov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching May on his heels. He'll look to pass May's guard now, I'm sure.
May is pulling down on Petrov's head. It's preventing any offense from Petrov, at least for the moment.
Petrov wants to stand but May has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
May trying to control the position.
May seems keen to control Petrov's posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Woody May wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Petrov goes for a double leg but May avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as May continues to drive forward.
Woody May has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luboslav Petrov.

May lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Petrov.
Petrov is looking for a takedown up against the cage. May gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Petrov has May pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. May manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Petrov gets control of May's arms and successfully pulls guard. Petrov will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Petrov has a closed guard, preventing May from standing up.
Petrov pulls May in close to prevent any damage.
May has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Woody May.
Petrov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jab, jab by May - just one landing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
May displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Petrov.
May throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Petrov crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
