The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dengel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
We've been informed that Anthriel has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Dengel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Anthriel avoids it really well and circles away.
Dengel dives in for a single leg takedown but Anthriel sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Anthriel breaks from the clinch.

Dengel closes the distance and clinches up with Anthriel, looking for a takedown. Dengel pushes Anthriel against the cage but Anthriel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dengel gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Anthriel is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Dengel is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Anthriel doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Dengel crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Dengel's bad books for that mishap!
