The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kuusela drives through and clinches with masa against the cage.
masa throws a head punch that misses.

Kuusela pulls guard.
masa seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
masa passes Kuusela's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Kuusela is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kuusela misses with a takedown attempt - masa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
